comprehensive DBT SKILLS TRAINING GROUPS (adults only)

A DBT skills training group that is fully adherent to the DBT treatment model outlined by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., ABPP. Clients in this group must be in weekly individual therapy with one of our SFDBT-affiliated therapists or a DBT therapist in the community that participates in a weekly DBT consultation team meeting and provides 24-hour skills phone coaching. 

Tuesdays: 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Wednesdays: 6:00 to 8:00 PM

Skills training for adults

A skills-training group that is based on the skills taught in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Participation is appropriate for people who do not necessitate Comprehensive DBT. For more information please click here.

Wednesdays: 5:30 to 7:00 PM

Thursdays: 1:00 to 2:30 PM

Skills Training for Teens

A skills-training group that is based on the skills taught in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Participation is appropriate for teens who do not necessitate Comprehensive DBT.

DBT graduate group (adults only)

A support group for clients who have completed a DBT skills training group. Clients need to have a fundamental knowledge of the skills. Clients outside of SFDBT need to be referred by a DBT therapist that they have worked with in the past or are currently in treatment with. If interested please contact Francie Burkhard at fburkhard@sfdbt.com
